It's official, 15 days until CHRISTmas! Time is surely flying!
Here in Utah we have had a pretty mellow winter. Last night we got our second (third?) real snowfall. For December 10th that is incredible!
Updates:
Finals week is currently in effect. One down, two to go. Thank goodness the semester is almost over, I'm getting burned out.
Thanksgiving was fun! I spent a week in Missoula, MT with my grandparents. It was great to see them! I also went up to Spokane, WA for a day to visit my uncle and his adorable family. :)
I have so many fun things planned for this Christmas! I am very excited! This weekend I will be heading down to STG! We will be making gingerbread houses, going shooting, exchanging some christmas gifts, and spending time together! It's going to be great! After this weekend, back to work. No school, luckily, until the start of Spring semester on Jan 14th. So that'll be a nice break. The weekend of the 21st Nate and Connor will be headed towards SLC. We are going to go ice skating (nate and connor have never been! whaaaat!?), to see the Temple Square lights, and enjoy some classic christmas movies with more gifts to exchange. My mom and brothers will be in town that weekend as well. I'm excited for them to all meet Connor. :) My dad will be getting in town from Georgia on Christmas eve night. That'll be loads of fun. I'm sure, though, that he will not at all enjoy our wintery weather compared to Georgia's musky humidity. ;)
I have been working towards my hunter safety lately. I have finished all of my online coursework and learned a ton!! The anticipation is building as well as my excitement for a new interest that I never thought that I would have. :) My written test and field day is at the beginning of January. I'm looking forward to it so I can put in for the buck drawing in Feb with the Atwoods.
Things with Nate and I are super fantastic! I love him lots!
Other than Christmas plans, hunters safety, and finishing up the semester, there's not a whole lot that's new. Until next time... love ya!

November November!
Time is absolutely flying!! October came and went and it is now November! A lot has occurred since the last post. School has been going well. I cannot believe there are only 6 weeks left in the semester! Registration for Spring Semester is tomorrow. I will be attending two health classes (prereqs for nursing), a jewelry class, and a photography class. It'll be my last semester at SLCC and the last semester before I obtain my associates degree in May. :)
Work is going well still. Same old same old.
Nate and Connor were here this last weekend. We had sooo much fun! We went to The Living Planet Aquarium, went to the movies, took photos at the park, colored some old-school felt posters, and just enjoyed our time together.
Here are some of the photos I took of them at the park!
I cannot believe how quickly Christmas is approaching!!! I am taking a week off of work in November to go up to Montana with my mom and brothers. I am definitely looking forward to the break and spending time with my family. Thanksgiving is such a warm family-oriented holiday. The weather has been far from winter-like (Knock on wood). It has been extremely nice for November in SLC. I am enjoying while it lasts.
The rest of this month and next are going to be extremely eventful. I am anticipating them to fly by as quickly as the rest of this year has.
Well, until next time.. :)

We did some more shopping on Sunday around town.

I am not quite sure yet what October has to bring, but I am eager to find out!

August Update!
Hello hello. Once again, it has been awhile since I have last posted.
Updates:
- The summer has been fun! I attended a few country concerts : Josh Gracin and Kix Brooks. I have yet to go to Sugarland on 9/1 and Lonestar on 9/11.
- Fall Semester has officially started as of last week. I am taking Natural Disasters, College Algebra II, and Conflict Management. With my dad's phenomenal math skills, I plan to finish this semester strong. I should be obtaining my Associates of Science at the end of spring semester.
- I am still working at the U of U and enjoying working with the Maternity patients. I plan to move to Cedar City after Spring Semester and attend the BSN program at Southern Utah University. The goal is neonatal nursing. :) Yay for finally settling on a career to pursue.
- I was able to spend a lot of time with family this summer. My mom was in town last weekend for a Broderick get together. It was so great to see her!

- I also went camping/hunting in Cedar City with the Atwoods!! That was definitely an exciting and new experience for me. I didn't get to shoot the deer this year, but I sure participated in the skinning!

- My birthday is next month! I will officially be 22 on the 26th! Time has really flown by! It's so crazy how quickly it goes by after 18. I am looking forward to being 22, I imagine it to be the perfect age to freeze time and eternally be. Haha. :P
- It was Julia's four year anniversary last week. August 22. I can't even describe what it feels like to have her missing from my life. It's been like a memory that, with time, almost doesn't feel real anymore. I miss her an indescribable amount. I find myself often wondering what her life would like if she were with us still. Would she be attending school along with me? Would she be traveling the world and leading African Safaris? She always had a great love for animals. Would she be married and have children? Would I be an active part in their life to remind them how phenomenal their mother is? I suppose it doesn't really do any good to wonder.. but I am positive that she would be doing something fantastic with her life. Most of all, I just hope that she found the happiness that she was looking for. Apparently, she didn't believe that she could find that here. I really hope that she smiles everyday and laughs along with all of the silly things that I do. Love you Jewel! R.I.P.
