August Update!

Hello hello. Once again, it has been awhile since I have last posted.
Updates:
- The summer has been fun! I attended a few country concerts : Josh Gracin and Kix Brooks. I have yet to go to Sugarland on 9/1 and Lonestar on 9/11.

- I also went camping/hunting in Cedar City with the Atwoods!! That was definitely an exciting and new experience for me. I didn't get to shoot the deer this year, but I sure participated in the skinning!

 - Fall Semester has officially started as of last week. I am taking Natural Disasters, College Algebra II, and Conflict Management. With my dad's phenomenal math skills, I plan to finish this semester strong. I should be obtaining my Associates of Science at the end of spring semester.
- I am still working at the U of U and enjoying working with the Maternity patients. I plan to move to Cedar City after Spring Semester and attend the BSN program at Southern Utah University. The goal is neonatal nursing. :) Yay for finally settling on a career to pursue.
- I was able to spend a lot of time with family this summer. My mom was in town last weekend for a Broderick get together. It was so great to see her!

- My birthday is next month! I will officially be 22 on the 26th! Time has really flown by! It's so crazy how quickly it goes by after 18. I am looking forward to being 22, I imagine it to be the perfect age to freeze time and eternally be. Haha. :P
- It was Julia's four year anniversary last week. August 22. I can't even describe what it feels like to have her missing from my life. It's been like a memory that, with time, almost doesn't feel real anymore. I miss her an indescribable amount. I find myself often wondering what her life would like if she were with us still. Would she be attending school along with me? Would she be traveling the world and leading African Safaris? She always had a great love for animals. Would she be married and have children? Would I be an active part in their life to remind them how phenomenal their mother is? I suppose it doesn't really do any good to wonder.. but I am positive that she would be doing something fantastic with her life. Most of all, I just hope that she found the happiness that she was looking for. Apparently, she didn't believe that she could find that here. I really hope that she smiles everyday and laughs along with all of the silly things that I do. Love you Jewel! R.I.P.
